Fermionization and Convergent Perturbation Expansions in Chern-simons Gauge Theory
We show that Chern-Simons gauge theory with appropriate cutoffs is equivalent, term by term in perturbation theory, to a Fermionic theory with a nonlocal interaction term. When an additional cutoff is placed on the Fermi fields, this Fermionic theory gives rise to a convergent perturbation expansion. This leads us to conjecture that Chern-Simons gauge theory also gives rise to convergent pertur...
متن کاملPOINTWISE CONVERGENT EXPANSIONS IN q-FOURIER-BESSEL SERIES
Abstract: We define q-analogues of Fourier-Bessel series, by means of complete qorthogonal systems constructed with the third Jackson q-Bessel function. Sufficient conditions for pointwise convergence of these series are obtained, in terms of a general convergence principle valid for other Fourier series on grids defined over numerable sets. The results are illustrated with specific examples of...
متن کاملConvergent Asymptotic Expansions of Charlier, Laguerre and Jacobi Polynomials
Convergent expansions are derived for three types of orthogonal polynomials: Charlier, Laguerre and Jacobi. The expansions have asymptotic properties for large values of the degree. The expansions are given in terms of functions that are special cases of the given polynomials. The method is based on expanding integrals in one or two points of the complex plane, these points being saddle points ...

متن کاملConvergent expansions for Random Cluster Model with q > 0 on infinite graphs
In this paper we extend our previous results on the connectivity functions and pressure of the Random Cluster Model in the highly subcritical phase and in the highly supercritical phase, originally proved only on the cubic lattice Z, to a much wider class of infinite graphs. In particular, concerning the subcritical regime, we show that the connectivity functions are analytic and decay exponent...
